On my 3- wheeler bike with a big basket, like I had when I was Anne Shirley (Ashontotoplee Asah” (that’s me”) a fun and lovable person who is insanely beautiful, the Goddess), the fresh cut flowers smell divine while riding. I pull behind me Gandalf’s cart filled with goodies to give away at the market to the townsfolk (fonshee) “Gods at Play”.Continue reading “The Village of the Gods”
In a world full of demons, there are adorable lovely things like “fiddleheads”, which make people happy and joyful, but not the hairy ones because they are demons. I am a “cheenchee” (happy but angry God) who is being joyful, even though the Hasaflah madams are charging me in my mind doing the “hasaflah” (fuck you I will attack you and fuck with your mind because now I want to sell your body because your the Goddess, so I am making you thin this time so the men will want you and will pay me for your time).
But worry not I am the God, and I make magical things happen, like the “flonkatee” (funny things in gardens which are cute and swirly), which is almost as cute a name as fiddlehead. So I made this magical little video just for you, the special ones, although you are few in a world full of demons.
A magical scene, that is in between worlds, it is ancient and old and demons are trying to take a hold, but they cannot have it because it is the land of the Gods and we are taking it back. It is a place of “skoo” (green) and it is cool and shaded, the color of trees are jaded. The magikal cove has stories untold, it is a place of love and dread, a place of the dead, a place where humans went to play games and practice shame, pretending to be witches, when they are really lame. It is a “fontaclee” (a place of great fun where people go to do things like sing, dance or make love).Continue reading “A Secret Garden”
Critters (called “Cashkahondiay) in the universe) on a shelf. The Cashkahondiay are people who are little, they twittle (do the dance) and do the skoot (do the wiggle). They are so cute. In the universe they are the “Fleenktee”, the fun ones who live in a place with trees that talk, when they want to, to the Gods.Continue reading “A Place Where Trees Talk”
I am the “Honshaplee” (the one who can see things that aren’t there, the one who is magical). The Flee Ashee (the fairies find me), in the Pink (the place in the sky), where we meet. They dance and sing and do playful things, the dew is beautiful and magical to them, they are the Sheenkooplee (the people in the sky who are beautiful and magical and little as can be). They are Ansheetoe (angels), who are sparkly and pretty and love to “eembeah” (climb the plants) and dance in the puddles that the drops of dew make. I am Ashontapleekasahasohanee (Shallalindrea, the angelic one), and you can see me in every fleenk fleenk (rainbow). I am the Shontahoo (opalescent (beautiful and angelic) one) too.
My inner garden goddess was basking in joy this week with a trip to a large local indoor garden center with my mom! It is soon to be Imbolc, the very beginning of the spring season, but alas, it is still winter and very cold, so the joyful sensory experience, with warmth on my skin and the smell of earth and plants was just what I needed!Continue reading “A Garden Goddess Window: Indoor Gardening to Heal the Winter Blues”
In an attempt to create a healing home that is comforting to my body, mind and spirit, I’ve been pondering the reasons “home” felt more relaxed and refreshing in the past than it does now, back when I was a child in the 70’s. And not just in my own home, but others as well. What is missing? What has changed?Continue reading “A Gentle Healing Home – Decorating for the Senses”
The local parks are of course beautiful in the summertime, but in the early winter there is a kind of subtle magic. When we are not distracted by the stunning beauty of flowers, bright green leaves and vibrant energy-giving sunshine, it allows us to slow down and feel the essence of nature, to see and hear the soul of the plants and trees, to listen to the whispers in the breeze, to feel the calm in the flow of the water. Nature is truly in a peaceful slumber… the way I believe we are meant to be during this time of year.Continue reading “A Magical Stroll through Nature in Winter”
